GYROKINESIS® class for SHOULDER OPENING

GYROKINESIS® movement class addresses the needs of the entire body: increases range of motion, improves flexibility and creates strength through rhythmic and flowing movement sequences.

It is low impact, gently stimulates the cardiovascular system and the nervous system and synchronises movement with breathing. It is a mindfulness practice that helps to find your mind-body connection.

The class typically involves a series of seated, standing and floor exercises sequences that flow together seamlessly, allowing the body to move in fluidity in continuum with spiral motions. It is like a self-message through movement, it helps you find your body at home. It is suitable for all ages and all physical capabilities. The topic we will focus on for this class is SHOULDER OPENING.

All we need is a stool/ armless chair and a mat. GYROKINESIS® method is not only a movement practice – it changes the way you move, brings new perspective to your movement and perhaps in many other ways in life too. The movement is organic and original, it brings you back to nature and to the beginning of life, bring your body back to how it was originally designed.
