Climate Conversations for SG Parents

A 2-hour programme where young parents gather to discuss their thoughts and feelings about the climate crisis. While the parents are at the conversation, planned activities for the children will be conducted so they can be occupied meaningfully. Join us in saving the planet!

Climate Conversations are a way to have meaningful conversations with the people we care about that inspire them to embrace our responsibility for our environment and our future.

Resolve Resilience Centre by The Affirmative People

Dean and Juliana met while they were both serving in the Singapore Police Force and together, continued their further studies in the first Gerontology program in Singapore more than a decade ago. Dean went on to continue her research in areas such as nutrition, sleep and movement while Juliana pursued her interest in neuroscience and emotions. Even though their interests are significantly varied, they realised that their interests were also very much complementary. Their experience serving palliative care patients together since 2016 has given them much insights about life.

In 2017, they co-founded The Facilitators' Project which runs empowerment programs for abused and neglected children and women in shelters. In 2018, they officially registered The Affirmative People so as to provide their clients with a more holistic, integrated support. With a multidisciplinary approach, they are on a mission to make a difference in 4 main focus areas which are integral to the human spirit - health and well-being; relationships; effectiveness and high performance; happiness and life satisfaction.

Family Despacho Ceremony

Family Despacho Ceremony

A child-friendly version of the despacho-making ceremony. This shamanic ritual, which comes from the Andean mountains of Chile, is a way of coming into harmony with the organising principles of the Universe, and bringing ourselves back into balance with Earth and the Heavens.

Kids love making these prayer bundles, which my kids and I call "Earth presents". They also love eating the sweets and biscuits as they craft their bundles! This is an opportunity for kids to contemplate their wishes, to let go of any sorrows, and to craft something unique and fun. Great for kids aged 5 to 10 to come with a parent and either make their own prayer bundles, or create a combined bundle together.

$45 adult/$20 kid
8 (4 parents, 4 kids) to 20 (10 parents, 10 kids)

Through a potent combination of coaching and energy work, Tamsin Bradshaw supports driven, passionate and empathic individuals who are at crossroads in their lives, and who are struggling with overwhelm, overstimulation, emotional ups and downs, and low energy. I help them build their own bespoke toolbox of mental, emotional and spiritual essentials – a treasure chest of gems that will support them in living rewarding, balanced lives.”

Rolypoly Family Junior Contemporary Dance

Rolypoly Family’s Junior Contemporary Dance Class is for children (aged 7-12) who love movement!

This is a creative contemporary dance class for boys, girls, and any child who enjoys dance, movement or acrobatics. In this nurturing environment, young dancers experience the endless creative possibilities of contemporary dance – floorwork, leaps and turns, gestures, going upside down, and a wide range of music, moods and dynamics.

Together, young dancers will practise physical drills and dance phrases, improvise, and create. This class nurtures young people into contemporary dance, encouraging all to make their own dances, push their own boundaries and imagination, and collaborate creatively. We also use acrobatic and partnering material, teaching different handstands, cartwheels and movement material that excite young dancers.
